My Philosophy

I believe travel isn’t a luxury — it’s a life skill.

For years, I worked in global health and international development, leading multi-million dollar initiatives and traveling the world for USAID. I saw firsthand how exposure to different cultures shapes empathy, resilience, and leadership.

But I also saw the cost.

I was missing first steps, school pickups, and bedtime snuggles. I loved the work — and hated the tradeoff.

That’s when I realized: I don’t have to choose between being a global citizen and being a present parent.

What if everything I learned traveling the world could be translated into a new way of traveling — with our kids?

My Mission

WithKidsTravel.com exists to make family travel feel possible — not overwhelming.

I help parents (especially moms) move from “maybe someday” to “we’re actually doing this.”

Not by promising perfection — but by offering clarity, confidence, and systems that work in real life.

Through practical frameworks, mindset shifts, and honest storytelling, I reduce the stress, logistics, and inequities that keep families close to home — even when they dream of more.

Because when caregivers feel confident, kids get exposed to the world.

And exposure is where curiosity, empathy, and global awareness begin.

My Purpose

My purpose is bigger than smoother trips (though those matter).

I’m here to help raise globally minded kids — one family at a time.

Research and experience both show this: children who experience different cultures early grow into adults who are more adaptable, empathetic, and engaged with the world around them.

I’ve supported hundreds of families through courses, tools, and workshops that make travel calmer, safer, and more accessible. And I’ve built this work while raising my own kids, working full-time, and staying deeply rooted in my community — the same balance my clients are seeking.
